When the crypto industry descends upon Austin for Consensus 2022, there’s going to be a higher level of scrutiny about the projects on display.
The crashes from bull markets, combined with the unraveling of a well-known name in the space, brings about intense skepticism on anyone who makes bold claims about the future. It’s human nature.
We’re fine with that. In fact, we’ve spent 8 years building for this through markets of all types. What’s more, as we round the corner to Babylon Alphanet, our timing and position could not be better.
The Radix Developer Experience, consisting of a base layer that scales infinitely without breaking atomic composability, the first and only programmable DeFi engine, and an elegant asset-oriented programming language, is of paramount importance. That hasn’t changed and it never will. It’s only becoming more and more obvious to everyone else.
Other projects put the code at the center. Radix puts the builder at the center.
In Texas, we are going to get the word out in a few ways.
- We have rented floor space where we are going to have interactive displays, coding session demos, and members of the RDX Works teams available to talk with people who stop by.
- We’re hosting a full-day Developer Immersion event like we did in Lisbon, where we aim to have 150 developers join us to have a hands-on Scrypto workshop so they can feel the power of the Radix Revelation.
- We’re hosting a party on Saturday night, where we expect in excess of 200 people. Want to register for the wait list? Sign up here.
- We’re sponsoring the exclusive Coin Center dinner at the top tier, putting the Radix name in lights next to some of the most well-known projects in the space (where it belongs) and in front of some of the biggest movers/shakers that crypto has to offer.
The team has worked hard to create an immersive event experience and we’ve redesigned our flyers, brochures, advertisements, and swag to more powerfully reflect our “Radically Different” mentality about everything, from DeFi to stickers.
We’re looking to come out of Consensus having engaged with hundreds of new developers, partners, token holders, and potential co-workers, all while positioning Radix as the only Layer-1 network that is purpose-built for DeFi by putting the developer experience at the core.
If you know of any developer who will be in the Austin area on June 11th, send them this link.
