How To Use ShardSpace

Here are some key features that help users manage assets and accounts, navigate the Radix ecosystem, and delve into the more developer-focused features.

Three things you’ll need: 

1. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to download the Radix Wallet
   
   
2. Have enough XRD in your Radix Wallet to conduct simple transactions and pay fees, $10 should do it; you can buy XRD quite easily.
   
   
3. Have your mobile device and/or laptop/PC ready. On ShardSpace, you can utilize Radix Connect for Mobile, which means you can use the platform on a mobile web browser without needing a desktop device.

The Portfolio page is your main dashboard, where you can view all resource types across your accounts. Managing your assets is as easy as drag and drop.

Easy Asset Transfers

Here’s how you can instantly transfer assets across your accounts:

• Go to the Portfolio page.
  
  
• Simply click on a token icon and drag it to another account in your list.
  
  
• A pop-up will prompt you to specify the number of tokens to move.
  
  
• Choose between ‘Quick Move’ or ‘Add to Cart’ for batch transfers.
  
  
• Finally, approve the transaction in your Radix Wallet.
  ‍

This feature isn’t just for tokens—it works for NFTs, Domain Badges, and other resources, making portfolio management smooth and intuitive.

Staking

The Portfolio page also includes a Staking tab to manage your staking positions across all accounts and Validators. With a few clicks, you can Stake, Unstake, Instant Unstake, and Claim rewards.

Here’s how to stake:

• Select the account from which you wish to stake.
  
  
• Choose a Validator and click on the Stake action.
  
  
• In the pop-up, enter the amount of XRD you want to stake and hit Stake.
  
  
• Approve the transaction in your Radix Wallet.

It’s that simple to start earning rewards and keep track of your staking positions!

Trading

The Trade Page allows users to execute trades either through Limit Orders via AlphaDex or traditional AMM token Swaps using Astrolescent.

Here’s how to place a Market Order (Swap):

• Go to the Trade page.
  
  
• Select the account you want to trade from.
  
  
• In the Swap panel, choose the tokens you wish to exchange.
  
  
• Click Quick Swap and approve the transaction in your Radix Wallet.

That’s it—your swap is done in just a few clicks!

Limit Orders

Here's how you can place a Limit Order on the Trade Page:

• Choose the account you want to trade from.
  
  
• Select the trading pair for your order.
  
  
• Decide whether to Buy or Sell.
  
  
• Set the amount and price for your trade.
  
  
• Either add the order to the Shopping Cart to execute later, or click Place Order to confirm the trade immediately.

Limit Orders give you control over your trades, allowing you to set your desired price and execute when you're ready!

Developer Page

The Developer Page features two powerful tools for project owners: the Token Creator & Manager and the Airdrop Tool. These tools are perfect for creating and managing simple or complex tokens and rewarding your community with token or NFT airdrops.

Using the Advanced Token Creator

The Advanced Creator lets developers build tokens with customizable behaviors such as being burnable, mintable, freezable, recallable, and more. Here’s a quick guide to creating an advanced token:

• Select the deposit address – this is where newly created tokens will be sent.
  
  
• Assign the owner role and specify the owner resource address.
  
  
• Enter the token details – including the name, ticker, supply, metadata, and any social media links.
  
  
• Set Token and Admin Permissions – configure permissions for each token behavior.
  
  
• Preview the settings – review all choices before finalizing.
  
  
• When satisfied, click "Proceed" to create your token.
  ‍

With these tools, creating and managing advanced tokens has never been easier.

The Airdrop tool enables project owners to distribute NFTs or tokens to multiple accounts in a single transaction. Here’s how to send tokens (the process for NFTs is very similar):

• Select the account holding the airdrop tokens.
  
  
• Choose the token you wish to airdrop.
  
  
• Distribute tokens by selecting one of the following methods:some text
  • Evenly across all addresses
  • By specific amounts per address
  • Import a list of accounts via CSV for custom distribution
    
    
• Add individual addresses and amounts manually if needed.
  
  
• Once everything is set, click "Confirm" and approve the transaction in the Radix Wallet.

This streamlined process makes distributing tokens or NFTs to your community efficient and easy.

The Explorer Page

The Explorer Page offers an in-depth view of network Validators and Accounts. The Validators feature displays essential statistics for each validator, including fees, uptime, total delegated stake, and annual percentage yield (APY).

The Account Explorer feature offers a convenient search function, allowing anyone to look up and review any account on the network, including the assets held and transaction history.

The Ecosystem Page

The Ecosystem Page initially offers two main features: a news feed that can search for news from across the crypto-verse and a token analytics section.

The tokens section provides essential statistics for your favorite Radix tokens. Whether it’s total supply, total accounts, or total transactions, the Ecosystem Tokens page has all the information you need. You can also see where your accounts rank among all holders of a given token, offering a detailed view.

ShardSpace Blog

The ShardSpace Blog is a free platform for Radix community members to share their ideas, thoughts, and updates on Radix-related topics. It's an open space for content creators to contribute articles and blog posts, covering anything from technical insights to community happenings.
