How To Use Astrolescent

Three things you’ll need: 

1. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to download the Radix Wallet
   
   
2. Have enough XRD in your Radix Wallet to conduct simple transactions and pay fees, $10 should do it; you can buy XRD quite easily.
   
   
3. Have your mobile device and/or laptop/PC ready. On Astrolescent, you can utilize Radix Connect for Mobile, which means you can use the platform on a web browser, without the need of a desktop device.

How to Swap Tokens on Astrolescent

Swapping tokens is at the heart of Astrolescent. Just select the tokens you'd like to sell and buy, enter the amount, and Astrolescent will automatically find the best possible trading routes to ensure you get the best price—without any additional fees! 

Start by going to Astrolescent.com, you will  immediately see the trade interface to make a swap.

Connect Your Wallet:

• Click the Connect button in the top-right corner of the Astrolescent interface.
  
  
• Follow the prompts to connect your Radix Wallet.

Choose Tokens to Swap:

• Now that your wallet is connected, you're ready to swap tokens.
  
  
• If you want to exchange $XRD for $ASTRL, enter the amount of $XRD you want to swap in the From section. In the To section, Astrolescent will display the amount of $ASTRL you'll receive.

Review Your Trade:

• Check the trade details proposed by Astrolescent.
  
  
• If you're happy with the deal, proceed to the next step.

Confirm the Swap:

• Click Swap > to start the trade.
  
  
• Open your mobile Radix Wallet and review the transaction preview to ensure everything is correct.

Complete the Trade:

• Once you're satisfied, approve the transaction in your wallet.

Bridging Tokens Over to Radix

Astrolescent has recently integrated the Maya Protocol bridge, making it effortless to swap assets from other networks, such as Ethereum, into XRD on Radix. This allows you to use assets already in your MetaMask or other wallets to easily obtain XRD.

Here’s how you can bridge your assets:

Go to the Bridge Tab: 

• Click the "Bridge" tab, located next to the "Swap" option.

Select Your Asset: 

• Choose the asset you'd like to swap to XRD. For example, you can select $ETH on the Ethereum Network.
  ‍

Enter Swap Amount: 

• Type in the amount of the chosen asset you'd like to swap.
  ‍

Input Your Radix Wallet Address: 

• Provide the Radix Wallet account address where you want your XRD tokens to be sent.

Connect Your Wallet:

•  Use WalletConnect, MetaMask, or XDEFI to connect the wallet where your assets are stored.

Review & Confirm: 

• Once you’re satisfied with the details, continue with the swap and follow the Radix Wallet prompts.

Stake $ASTRL on Astrolescent

Astrolescent offers a unique feature where 33% of its revenue is shared with users who stake their $ASTRL tokens. With an estimated APY of around 10%, rewards are paid out weekly into the staking contract, gradually increasing the amount of $ASTRL you have staked. Over time, you’ll earn more $ASTRL than you initially invested.

Staking $ASTRL:

• Click on the Stake option in the header. You’ll see a graph displaying the weekly value increase of staked $ASTRL.
  
  
• Click Add Stake to go to the staking page.
  
  
• Enter the number of $ASTRL tokens you want to stake, then click Stake ASTRL.

Confirm Transaction:

• Open your mobile Radix Wallet.

You've successfully staked your first $ASTRL tokens. You can monitor your staked $ASTRL balance, including rewards, on Astrolescent or in your Radix Wallet under Pool units.
